Hmmm.....the end of the month....time flies amazingly fast....
Well my saturday was pretty well utilized thanks to the canvassing issues that I had on my hand, with the burdens to shoulder being the central zone IC (although I think Charles would be a better choice haha)
The day started for me at 1040 waiting outside Gleneagles for Charles to start our money collecting fiasco after Bran started his yesterday and Siwen's constant advice. Although we only went to 3 clinics, we got $20 dollars from one clinic and a cheque coming soon for Clement. I thought we did a pretty good job. Had lunch and went shopping with Charles after that at Takashimaya (Clement....are you reading this??? haha). Charles despite his demeanour in classes is actually someone who can actually engage in a good and serious conversation.. Had a nice talk with you pal....
Church was enriching.....Pastor Kong taught us that what you are and what you are going to accomplish is very dependent on your mind. If you think you will fail, you will fail. I guess I better stop saying that I am going to remain a bachelor or else I will really be a bachelor one day. OK its time to feed my ego.
Incident no.1- My church friend for almost 4 years whispered to me and say "Hey, you look good today." I guess we are taught to esteem each other in church but still thanks for the compliment.
Incident no.2 - Hmmmm, my church friend's friend told me I looked cute with my new tan and requested to touch my face...I obliged to it willingly without knowing the repercussions. In the end of my bus journey with them, I got "caress" about 5 times including a goodbye touch. I guess I would not reject any girls advances until I am settled down. Does this make me a flirt? I used to think I was but maybe I still am.
Saw Wanyi with her mom at Jurong point....what a coincidence......Bought my Michael Buble CD too.....
PS: Diana...don't you dare arrow me for your shit....haha just kidding feel free to ask for any help from your most helpful classmate.. :)

To tell you guys reading this...... Writing blogs seems a bit tiresome for me already...haha.....But i am not going to stop writing!!
Yesterday i went to my dad's friend place to visit them in the spirit of CNY.........earned $8 for just an hour's work of stoning and socialising....Not bad huh.....
I have learned the hard way of counting money from red packets this year..... MAKE SURE THERE IS NOTHING LEFT IN THE PACKET BEFORE YOU START RIPPING THEM. My $10 was badly mutilated by my incredible force but I always have my way :)
Seen the American Idol Episode 2 today.....it has got to be one of my favourite shows after Survivor......but I just don't like the idea that no asians are portrayed to be fair enough singers. Those that were shown was indeed horrendous. I am sure out of the millions there ought to be at least one who can pass the test of Randy Jackson, Paula Abdul and Simon Cowell. Or maybe they know their limitations unlike those who insisted that they will earn a lot of money by singing but could not sing for NUTS!!!
Leave me a note in my tag board yah.....at least we can still chat if i am not active in my blog :)

Hmmm...another day passed.
School started remarkably late today. But there are still people who diligently went to school at 8 am anticipating for the physio lecture......Stanley.....don't hide.... lol....If I am not wrong Lulin was one of the "diligent" ones too. Am I suprised?? nah....
Visited the library with Stanley and Tien Tien (so happy she wore the cross I gave her during christmas!!!) after lab session for 3 hrs. Thank God I finished what I am supposed to. It is definitely God's grace that carried me through. Thank you God!
Terence was residing there too with his friend....... The four of us had dinner and a little chat on the things to come in dental school. Things seem pretty scary and stressful. I am struggling to cope with year 1 and year 2 seems to be another higher hill to climb.....

Arrgghh!!! Finally a day off from all the socialising and get together......but it has been a good source of income though :)
Well I am not going to say how much was my harvest but it was a nice amount for me........but darn! My brother got more than me because he got his girlfriend's family to squeeze!!!
Anyway I felt happy today and bought myself a $139 Adidas ski jacket but I got it for only $97....so proud of myself! I won't be cold anymore for lectures :) especially the antartica LT 23......
I seem to be getting more Adidas stuff including my beanie.....they have really nice stuff but the price is just a bit steep...but I am willing to pay more for quality.....
Just realised from Gengfeng that there will be no physio lecture and tutorial which means I can go to school tomorrow at 1pm!!! :) :) :) :) :) :) :) Boy! Am I happy or what...

My second consecutive late CNY day.....just came back from Sheena's place. Haven't seen this cousin of mine for while but she is going back to down under again for her studies on sunday....So quick! Oh well, at least its better than not seeing her at all this new year. I finally found the same ardent Christina Aguilera fan in her!!!
Hmm....Sheena told me that as a born Aries, I am supposed to be the most romantic of the lot then I talked to xueli the other day and found out that I am a relationship idiot as I would like to put it that way.......Is that the reason why I am going to remain a swinging bachelor??? Do I have what it takes??? I am 22 this year already and I have not experienced what is true love........Its a pity.......Sigh.....
Anyway back to CNY........ I believed I ate a whole tray worth of ferrero rochers within this 2 days. Why do people like to buy ferrero rochers during CNY?? I wonder??? But I gulp them down so much cos' its my all time favourite chocolate......All my swimming down the drain.........
And I tried so hard to refrain from drinking coke during CNY after the cariology lecture but when I was thirsty with only coke in the fridge, I succumbed to my thirst and decided to corrode my teeth........

I am back at home after a whole day of visitations and socialising for CNY day 1..... Throughout the whole day i had several realisations........
Realisation no.1 "I have evolved"
This has got to be the most common phrase I have heard the whole day. "I will not be able to recognise you on the streets!"
Let me make a list of the people who said that....
- My nanny
- My nanny's daughter in law
- My mom's ex bosses
- Uncle Ronnie
- Cousin Alvin
- Uncle Jeffrey
- Auntie Sharon
Have i really evolved over the past one year??? I thought maybe but i have seen all my childhood friends blossoming especially the girls.... they looked better and better as the year passes.....I thought they were the ones who had evolved. Cousin Eugene even gave me a middle name Kim cos he thought tha I looked like a Korean...funny guy
Realisation no.2 "A woman is strong"
After seeing Auntie Vivian bedridden on the her bed for the past 20 years, unable to recognise anyone, unable to talk and perpetually had all her energy drained, I feel a bit depressed and found out the reason of her state just today......
Apparently she was told by a doctor not to have any babies because of some neurological disorders in her but she was bent on having one....
She had one in the end but she could only see her daughter grew till the age of 4 until reality sets in, making her to the state she is right now......To aggravate things, her husband left her for another woman because he could not accept the fact that she has degenerated.......
A woman so brave and had so much love for her unborn child......I salute you!

Dogs! Dogs! Galore.....
Zack, Angel and Patchy rekindled my love for dogs today after seeing them during my visitations.......I am inspired to keep a dog next time if i have the chance!
Need to sleep and recuperate for tomorrow.....

Alright as i have promised, my lengthy pre CNY post.....i hope..... School ended pretty late today with biochem and dental anat back to back....wasn't listening as usual...i am really worried that someday my slackness in lectures will come back to haunt me.......sigh....Clement, Fengyi, Jon and myself got stranded today at the 95 bus stop thanks to the sciences people, filling up the buses like sardines.....opposite our local food source - the Enclave....sounds nice huh....well....the food there is average just that all of us got tired at eating there......Envy the arties, scienties, bizadies and engineeries (Damn! they got macdonaldS!). Anyway better stop digressing...LOL
Hmm....my steamboat dinner....a very homely one
but my granny made the annual super concentrated $400 sharks fin soup....so delicious...yum yum
Had pig stomach, fish, chicken, liver, cuttlefish, some lobster balls, humongous prawns....feel so full....All the cholesterol.....clogging my arteries.....
Got a bit distraught and traumatised by the slides Dr.Lim showed my class during cariology lecture......And I advice my family members not to drink Coke anymore when i saw my dad gulping down vanilla coke....Hopefully it doesn't go in vain...Feel so clever all of a sudden.....
Well i promised a lengthy one....but i don't think its long enough...LOL......its hard for me to write my thoughts but i think i will try........
By the way...happy birthday fengyi.....in advance...

Well....This is my first post ever.....I would call it peer pressure for me to start this blog. Personally I am not fond of diary writing so this might take a chunk of my meat......Been reading huaqin's, stanley's and diana's blogs religiously over the past few months...thought it would pretty cool to start one even though this might be my first and my last post......LOL.....this is a little introduction to preview my blog....Got lots to say in my next post cos i just finished my streamboat reunion dinner....
