I am back at home after a whole day of visitations and socialising for CNY day 1..... Throughout the whole day i had several realisations........

Realisation no.1 "I have evolved"
This has got to be the most common phrase I have heard the whole day. "I will not be able to recognise you on the streets!"

Let me make a list of the people who said that....
- My nanny
- My nanny's daughter in law
- My mom's ex bosses
- Uncle Ronnie
- Cousin Alvin
- Uncle Jeffrey
- Auntie Sharon

Have i really evolved over the past one year??? I thought maybe but i have seen all my childhood friends blossoming especially the girls.... they looked better and better as the year passes.....I thought they were the ones who had evolved. Cousin Eugene even gave me a middle name Kim cos he thought tha I looked like a Korean...funny guy

Realisation no.2 "A woman is strong"
After seeing Auntie Vivian bedridden on the her bed for the past 20 years, unable to recognise anyone, unable to talk and perpetually had all her energy drained, I feel a bit depressed and found out the reason of her state just today......

Apparently she was told by a doctor not to have any babies because of some neurological disorders in her but she was bent on having one....
She had one in the end but she could only see her daughter grew till the age of 4 until reality sets in, making her to the state she is right now......To aggravate things, her husband left her for another woman because he could not accept the fact that she has degenerated.......

A woman so brave and had so much love for her unborn child......I salute you!

Realisation no.3 "I love dogs"
Dogs! Dogs! Galore.....
Zack, Angel and Patchy rekindled my love for dogs today after seeing them during my visitations.......I am inspired to keep a dog next time if i have the chance!

Need to sleep and recuperate for tomorrow.....
