"Where Is The Love" by Black Eyed Peas
First it was Spain, Next I was dealt with a super big blow......Italy......Then....when I thought I can support Germany, it went the next day......England and France were also not spared from the powerhouse massacre in the quarter finals......No love at all in Euro 2004....
I would mark today's church service as one of the best I have attended.......It made me think about the people out there without the gospel.....and I felt even stronger for mission work after today.....to sacrifice yourself for the less fortunate people outside Singapore doing God's will.........And I could sense God's anointing on Pastor Kong when he was preaching.....And I would say I never felt this way for my 4 years in City Harvest....
And the finale was when Pastor Kong told us university students to go in front so that he can pray for us..........I went in front and I could felt God's Power......His power at the altar....so tangible.....words could not express how I felt......The power and presence of God........And when Pastor Kong laid his hands on me, I felt light headed and the power of God was on me and I fell to the ground....(my shirt almost came off!!!)
Anyway....this is what Christianity is all about....about having a relationship with our heavenly father.....to be able to communicate with Him...Its like a father and son relationship, except that this father is our spiritual father......Its not about having a religion....its about a relationship.....
Thank you God for showing me what I have seen today.....You are most worthy!
PS: Holland must win! (so that cheaters cannot be condone......lol)

Italy VS Bulgaria
ARRGHHH!!! I hate watching soccer.......I always end up disappointed....but I must say that I was really feeling the heat when the minutes are counting up and Antonio Cassano netted the well deserved goal for Italy to win the match at injury time......Although the win was not enough, I was glad to see Italy fighting in the second half......a rare sight......
Well I guess I am used to seeing Italy getting robbed.......
1) They were robbed at the last world cup so blatantly by the officials....I almost puked blood watching the match against Korea....
2) This time they really got screwed by Sweden and Denmark.....Well.....I am sure a 2-2 draw is possible but everything seems perfect timing....All the players were jubilant at the end of the match......My poor Italy......CHEATERS! FIFA officials.......go look into the match!
I do hope that the teams in Group D can put a stop at these cheaters in the quarter finals.....CHEATERS never win.....! This is a classic example of having your fate at your enemies' hands. I felt so disgusted after Gengfeng's analysis today......

"Bitch" by Meredith Brooks
Nah...today's entry is just for me to bitch.....
One week down.......2 more weeks to go.....thats my hols.....
And for the next 2 weeks they are all packed with orientation stuff......FOC FOC.....stupid FOC taking up all my hols.....
Today I saw......arts.....science and engin orientation in school.....Wow what am I doing in school? I wonder.....maybe its for FOC?
But it did brought back a little nostalgia when I saw them cheer and play.....
Might see them again tomorrow.....why is that so??? Maybe I am going to school tomorrow??? For what? Hmmmmm.....I wonder......
Hokay....think i better stop bitching.....Tonight I will be staying up to watch Italy vs Bulgaria..And I really hope Italy goes through....please don't disappoint me again.........
That sweden and denmark better not rigged their game......Or they will face my wrath....lol....

Haha....finally my song titles are back! I need a breather....Hols.....nope....I have been going back to school pretty frequently due to the upcoming FOC preparation.....Gotta thanks the people who went with me to Sentosa today for the recce trip.....
Siwen for being the scare meter for the fright night
Weisong and dennis for being good examples of authority
Clement for being the OGL spy and the eerie meter
Bran for holding my cup...haha
Gengfeng for helping me throughout these past days
No really really appreciate you guys......These few days I have been going back to my computer and doing those stupid editing and printing...getting sick of it already......
Well today we spent most of the whole trip in Sentosa discussing about fright night...I got a little of the creeps....and it was in the afternoon for crying out loud.......But everything seemed pretty good. Just need the rest of the class to be brave and act out.....I am also having problems with that lol
What do you know? Soccer tomorrow? Ha...I can't believe I am actually playing.....Well.....maybe I might unleash the Cannavaro talent in me...haha....

Italy VS Denmark
Waah!!!!! I stayed till 1.30 am to finish watching this match hoping that Italy could deliver the french magic but they didnt......I kind of knew this would happen.....Such a disappointment.....I almost wanted to throw my TV set .....haha.......
Denmark was really good but they could not penetrate the Italy stronghold...haha....the only proudest thing for Italy yesterday.....I found my favourite soccer player....he is Fabio Cannavaro.............actually I have heard of him before but I didn't know he defends so well......must be because of the bald head....with his headers......lol......
and the tommassen guy got booked for diving......haha......come on.....its was clearly not a tackle and you were on your knees and pretending to further dive some more........
Italy looked defeated in the beginning of the match........but there was one hero that rose to the occasion......Cannavaro....!!!

Croatia VS Switzerland
Euro fever is on and ha.....I couldn't bear to stay up till the wee hours in the morning to catch the england and france match up.....so I just settled with the pretty boring game..........I decided to flip to channel 22 and there you go WWE Raw.....Triple H really look fatter recently.......Haha....I always root for the asses.....Randy Orton...my man......and Batista.....his muscles are godzilla like.......anyway back to Euro......the france and england match looked so exciting on the new paper....well according to what I read, I think Beckham didn't really deserve to be labelled as a dud....just because he missed a penalty....Even though I almost wanted to throw my Tv out of the window when Roberto Baggio missed the deciding penalty in world cup 1994 i think for Italy...... The Steven Gerrard and Emile Heskey errors appeared more disasterous
Anyway I have always an axe to grind with england.......maybe because my brother used to support them.....haha....
Next up watch my team to shine....the full blooded Italians......against the danes.............don't make me want to throw my Tv set again..........*cross my fingers*

My blog is ALIVE!!!!! Well I ended the last blog entry with my competency test....Had my second shot on friday......Thank you God for your aid and blessings....I can never do that without you.......Results are not out....It will only be out when term starts.......I need TO PASS!
Anyway...the dreaded idiotic special term has ended....in the words of dennis...5 weeks seemed like 5 years.....that is so true.....and the next 3 weeks is probably going to be the shortest 3 weeks ever......well there is EURO 2004.....and I hope for Italy to win........hey I know a thing or 2 about soccer too.....I just don't play......At least the rigged KOrea team is not in EURO.....haha.....
Zidane can't save France......and England has a bunch of hooligans to support them..... I like Holland's jersey....Orange my favourite color...well 2nd favourite......Van Nistelrooy is their only hope.....but they still lost to ireland and belgium in the friendlies......I do hope for some shocker in the competition.......as long as Italy is on the winning side......Maybe world cup "favourites" Korea pulled their big chunky string like what they did in world cup to qualify for EUro 2004......lol........

"Ignition" by R.Kelly
The day I stopped blogging since my last entry, I had a lousy day.....I would say its the worst day I ever had in dental school......oh yah....I failed my competency test.......that plus many other stuff brought me back to the time I had my first depression.......that was in the army.....this time I thought it was worse...I went around walking like a zombie....I made my parents and grandmother worried because of me being dazed and listless....I prayed to God and felt rejuvenated....And I promised myself never to be like that again........It was pretty childish of me.....BUt.....no excuses...
Today I had a nice day at home....went for dinner with my parents.....watched Paycheck on DVD....so cool.....I really love this kind of movies.....thinking movies.......anyway....I drove today! I am glad I still have my driving skills intact....haven't been driving for ages....been too lazy. Dad's car got scratched but he was nonchalant about it.....haha.....cos he's changing his caR! Maybe I should psycho him to let me drive for these last 2 months...ALONE!
Singapore Idol....I kind of regretted not joining....seeing how some of them perform with lousy diction and actually got through the second round.....I guess its not time for me to indulge in something like that...maybe if they come out wih singapore idol 2....haha.....
Something tells me that Singapore Idol is going to be quite bad but we'll have to wait and see....
One last week and say bye bye to special term....

to the rest who had a sucky day.......well this is what we signed up for.....and we can either blame ourselves or make full use of the mistakes.....and take it as a learning experience........I am never good at handling stuff like that because i tend to also look at the short term effects......but take things easy but never lose focus.......(i am trying too)..........it is gonna be more crazy in the future...
